Balesin Island Club - A Piece of Paradise

What could be a better way to reach an exclusive paradise but through a private chopper. Yes, I was more than lucky to have experienced an all exclusive trip to now becoming famous, Balesin Island!

My privilege to be on board a chopper gave me a 360 degrees bird’s eye view of the island. Having been a first timer in a heli, I was totally in awe to what I was seeing! It made me want to extend the ride to see more of the perfection from above. Excitement poured a little more the time I set foot in the private runway; I knew at that time that there’s more to see.

Balesin Island Club is a hidden gem in the Polillo Group of Islands open to members only. It is a 500-hectare property (half of the size of Boracay) with 7.3 kilometers stretch of white sands. The island has seven themed villas that could give you a glimpse of the world. Each villa offers serenity, drifting you away from the daily noise of city life. Who wouldn’t fall in love with the calmness it brings to every sensation? No wonder this property is also becoming a wedding haven for couples!

Bali Villa, they say is the place to view a perfect sunset. Lounge and have a good taste of wine while waiting for the night to capture the day.

It has been a dream to see Santorini but I guess for now I do not really need to spend much because Mykonos Villa or Village took my breath and made me fall in love more. I know that there is more to see in the real Mykonos but I am more than satisfied for now. Even the authenticity of the food is just superb!

Surprisingly, I got stunned with the beauty of Toscana Villa. It made me feel like wearing a classic ball gown and take a shot in front of its intricately designed walls. Just by staring at it made me imagine that anytime, a prince will come out.

The colorful vibes of St. Tropez made me want to call my friends and have cocktails by the pool.

To add more, day dreaming while sitting in the veranda of the royal suite is not bad at all. I bet that this is one of the most favorite spots of newlyweds.

Balesin, like all other beach destinations, offers a unique experience only that it is with the grandest because you have to be a member to get in and have a feel of what it really offers. It has a private plane with scheduled commercial flights from Manila and Clark. If you have a friend, or a relative who happens to be a member, don’t miss the chance if they tag you along and own a piece of paradise even for a short while. Like me, I savored every second of my 5-hour experience in the island!
