Fun Activities to Try for the Rainy Season
Posted by: Jovy Avisado ( Member ) on 2016-09-08
The last wave of summer comes in. And the beaches are going to be abandoned on the onset of the rainy season. If you think that an all-out fun ends as the sun hides behind the clouds, then you're doomed to have a boring life for the rest of the year. However, gloomy as it may be, the rainy season can be as exciting as summer! Below are some of the activities that you can enjoy during the cold weather:

Swimming at Hot Springs

Enjoying the warm water of hot spring is very soothing and relaxing during the rainy weather. Unlike the chlorine-infused waters of a pool, hot spring contains minerals that comfort sore muscles and muscle pain. There are hot spring resorts available in the Philippines particularly in the provinces. You can find a wide array of hot springs in Laguna which offer indoor and outdoor hot springs.

Gearing Up in Water Activities

Various water activities like surfing, water rafting, kayaking and wake boarding get even more exciting with the crashing waves during the rainy season! If you're up for a nerve-wracking adventure, try doing these extreme activities. But just make sure to be cautious in engaging in these activities especially if you're just an amateur.

Indoor Sports Activities

sports, tennis

Fight off the laziness and be active by trying some indoor sports activities! Don't let the cold weather take over your body; move some muscles and let the adrenaline rush heat up your body with some sweat. You can play basketball, tennis, badminton, bowling, wall climbing and the long list goes on. Enjoy these activities with your family and friends and start living an active, healthy life.

Restaurant Hopping

If you're feeling lazy to travel somewhere but still want to discover and enjoy something new during the gloomy weather, you can go on a restaurant hopping! Try some restaurants or dishes that you haven't tried like foreign cuisines such as Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Italian. Or you may stick to Filipino dishes and explore exotic foods from various provinces. Go out with your friends and bring out the food junkie in you! You can check out our Places to Eat tab to know some restaurants that you can try.

Don't let the rain stop you from your travel adventures. Book your flight now and make your rainy season experience into something exciting and amazing!
