Cebu City is the capital city of the province of Cebu and is the "second city" of the Philippines. It is the second largest, most important, fastest growing city in the country. It's best to visit Cebu on a fine summer day. I went there to attend the famous annual Sinulog Festival. It is held every third Sunday of January. The Sinulog Festival is one of the grandest, most distinguished, and most colorful festivals in the Philippines. Upon arriving Cebu City, you may find yourself roaming around, trying their affordable food like danggit, pusit, and dried fish which all go very well with hot coffee.
The festival features some of the country's most colorful displays of ceremony and pageantry. The streets are generally lined with vendors and pedestrians all wanting to witness the street-dancing. Your Cebu trip won't be complete if you don't try its famous lechon in Zubuchon lechon located at General Maxilom Avenue. After watching the annual festival, enjoying eating lechon, and craving for adventure and excitement, I recommend tourists and guests to stay in Plantation Bay Resort and Spa. My father bought an acoustic guitar in Cebu because they really make good quality guitars. To complete your taste of Cebu, try eating the best pork ribs in Casa Verde.
