Cintai Corito's Garden: A Resort Built Out of Undying Love
Story by: jovy avisado ( Member ) on 2017-01-04
Have you ever done something to always remind you of your true love? Indeed, when you love someone you simply don’t forget, but somehow you would want to see or touch something that would make you feel his/her presence.

Cintai Corito's Garden was used to be a private rest house for the family. In 2005, the matriarch was diagnosed with a terminal illness. The garden helped her to somehow ease the pain and forget about her sickness. Two years later, Corito passed away. The family decided to turn a simple garden to a haven to commemorate the fondness of Corito to the place. Cintai is an Indonesian word meaning LOVE, thus, the beginning of the story of Cintai Corito’s Garden. The resort was mainly built out of undying love for a wife and a mother.

Cintai Corito's Garden

Cintai Corito’s Garden is a perfect getaway for people who would like to escape the hustle and bustle of a city life. One would feel the real meaning of relaxation and unwinding. Savor the stillness of the place and let it take away all your worries. The Garden (as they call it, instead of a resort) has 18 villas, each is designed uniquely. It has 4 pools of different sizes, a playground for kids and friendly animals! Yes! There is quite a number of animals around the area. Take for example Bambi, a friendly donkey that can capture a kid’s attention. The Garden has 2 main pavilions, too for special occasions.  Mind you, the rooms do not have televisions and WiFi can only be accessed in selected areas with a limited time. Wonder why? In Cintai, they offer the experience of serenity, away from all the negativities.

Cintai Corito’s Garden is approximately an hour drive from Manila. 17 kilometers away from the Star Toll, take Balete Exit. From the toll gate, drive approximately 4 kilometers thru General Leviste until you see Cintai Corito’s Garden on the left. It’s as if you are in a totally different world, once you’re there!
