All work and no play? Well, team tripmoba.com also knows how and where to have fun! After two years of ‘all work’, tripmoba.com finally had its first team outing at SandBox in Porac, Pampanga this month.
From our office at Bonifacio Global City (BGC), the team traveled for about two and a half hour to get to our destination – including a quick stopover at Meycauayan Exit for a hearty breakfast. The team was incredibly blessed with a perfect day for some adrenaline-fueled adventure as the sun decided to expose itself after almost a week of hiding. (For this trip, we suggest that you bring a 4x4 or four-wheel drive vehicle.)
SandBox's Ticketing Entrance
SandBox offers various outdoor activities that are sure to tickle your fancy – there’s the giant swing, aerial walk, freefall, rappel wall, wall climbing, roller coaster zipline, mini golf and outdoor archery. It also offers all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and utility task vehicle (UTV) for those who want to have some off-road adventure.
To make it easier and more affordable for the adventurers, Sandbox offers some package options to choose from. If you want to try all the activities (excluding ATV, UTV and outdoor archery), you may choose Package A for Php650 (per person). But if you have a faint heart and don’t want to try the freefall (like some members of tripmoba team), you may prefer Package B for Php540. For a complete info about the packages and prices, you may follow the link: http://www.alviera.ph/packages/
If you want to fully enjoy the activities at SandBox, you have to wear comfortable and/or sporty clothes – shirt, jogging pants, leggings, shorts and rubber shoes. Slippers, flip-flops, sandals and jeans are highly not advisable. Also, apply some sunblock to protect your skin from the scorching heat.
tripmoba Members Prepping Up for the Great Fall!
Freefall was the first stop of some young and brave tripmoba.com members. It’s quite simple really. You’ll just be strapped in a harness with a rope attached at the back, asked to walk on the platform’s edge and step (not jump) onto thin air and fall from SandBox’s 49 feet Adventure Tower. Terrifying? YES! But it’s a really exhilarating and remarkable experience!
Team tripmoba.com Having a Blast at SandBox
The team spent about 4-5 hours to complete all the activities. We suggest that your last stop would be the aerial walk. This activity is comprised of various obstacles. By the time you’ve reached the end, you’d be very exhausted to try the other activities. On average, it takes about 6-8 minutes to complete all the obstacles.
In case you got hungry after getting high with the activities, there’s a snack bar at the entrance. Also, SandBox has official photographers that capture every adventurers’ best smiles (and terrifying screams). For Php200-300, you get to have a printed picture of your SandBox adventures!
